Gettin' ready for Spring Plantin'

Well, it's that time of year again. The birds are singing, the flowers are blooming and the fields that have been dormant during the winter months are ready to be plowed and planted. I shot these pictures yesterday while my Dad and brother were plowing and disking the field before planting clover and oats. There was a nice breeze that added a dramatic dust-blowing effect.

Spring is almost here!

Daffodills are usually the first flowers to bloom once the weather starts warming up. And They have once again graced us with there presence. Their bright color is a welcoming sight because when the daffodills bloom you know that Spring is just aroung the corner and it won't be long till all the other flowers in all of their beauty will join them in spucing things up a bit! Here are just a few shots I got this evening before the sun went down.

My latest photoshoot...

So, the other day I noticed one of my Grandpa's fields was full of this awesome looking grass, broom sage, as my Dad later informed me, and I thought it would make a great shoot location. So I got my sister Devin, my ever faithful and willing model, to grab a couple guitars and let me shoot some pictures. We had a lot of fun even though it was a bit chilly and the sun decided to hide behind some rain clouds and we got some great shots!

I had a lot of fun taking pictures of these sisters! Lots of laughter and giggles were heard as they posed for me, making it quite an enjoyable time!

I took my cousins pictures on a very, very cold day in December. When we planned the shoot we had no idea it would snow the day before. The weather kinda just snuck up on us. But it didn't last long and had melted before we did the pictures. But it was still extrememly cold!

I have not done any new shoots recently but since this is a new blog I decided to go ahead and post some of my past shoots. This photoshoot was actually my first "real" shoot. A friend asked me to do her senior pictures and I was more than glad to do them. We had a lot of fun and I got some experience taking someone's pictures other than family!

                                              

It's Finally Here!

Well, my new Blog is officialy up and running! After many hours at the computer it is finally here. I'm going to try to keep it up to date with posting new pictures and stuff as often as I can but, we'll just have to see how that goes!
